Banyak Guru Dan Tenaga Kesehatan Seruyan Kabur

�Butuh keseriusan dan ketegasan dari pemerintah daerah dalam menangani masalah ini. Sebab jika tidak segera diatasi, akan mengurangi kepercayaan masyarakat desa terhadap guru maupun tenaga kesehatan,� kata Hulius.

TINJAU SEKOLAH: Bupati Seruyan Sudarsono didampingi Wakilnya Yulhaidir saat meninjau salah satu SD di Rantau Pulut, Kecamatan Seruyan Tengah, beberapa waktu lalu. Saat ini, tingkat kesadaran para guru yang bertugas di kecamatan hulu masih minim, dengan meninggalkan tugas mengajarnya.

KESADARAN sebagian para guru dan tenaga kesehatan yang bertugas di daerah hulu Kabupaten Seruyan masih rendah. Itu diketahui saat sejumlah anggota DPRD Seruyan Dapil III melakukan kunjungan ke daerah tersebut.

Anggota dewan banyak menerima laporan dan keluhan dari beberapa warga desa menyangkut keberadaan (penugasan) guru maupun tenaga kesehatan di wilayah Kecamatan Seruyan Tengah, Seruyan Hulu dan Suling Tambun.

�Mereka banyak yang kabur dari tempat tugas. Dari penuturan warga desa di tiga kecamatan itu, ada tenaga guru dan kesehatan yang hanya aktif beberapa hari saja, setelah itu tidak terlihat lagi,� kata Hulius Yahya, anggota DPRD Seruyan Dapil III, kepada Borneonews di kantornya, Sabtu (18/1).
Hulius meminta, kepada dua dinas terkait yang menangani masalah guru dan tenaga kesehatan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja para guru yang selama ini ditugaskan di beberapa kecamatan hulu khususnya. �Kasihan nasib anak didik di sana, bagaimana mereka bisa memperoleh pendidikan yang layak di sekolah, sementara gurunya saja enggan untuk mengajar,� ujar Hulius.

Masalah guru dan tenaga kesehatan di tiga kecamatan itu, hingga kini masih menduduki keluhan masyarakat desa di urutan pertama. Padahal ini merupakan permasalahan klasik yang selalu muncul, setiap anggota dewan melakukan kunjungan kerja.

Di samping itu, pemerintah daerah juga perlu memberikan reward atau penghargaan bagi guru maupun tenaga kesehatan yang betul-betul mengabdi untuk masyarakat ditempat tugasnya. Ini dimaksudkan, demi meningkatkan semangat kinerja mereka dalam menjalankan tugas. �Perlu juga adanya penambahan insentif bagi para tenaga pendidik dan kesehatan yang bertugas di desa-desa yang sangat jauh dan sulit dijangkau transportasi,� ungkapnya.
