Dragon Age: Origins is the 1st game in Dragon Age franchise. This game was released for PlayStation 3, Microsoft Windows & Xbox 360 on 3rd November 2009 & for Mac OS X on 21th December 2009.
Set in fictional kingdom of the Ferelden during a time of civil strife, player assumes the introduction of a warrior, Mag & rogue coming from elven, human and dwarven background who must unite kingdom to fight impending invasion by the demonic forces. Here BioWare describes that Dragon Age: Origins as "dark heroic fantasy which set in unique world" & a spiritual inheritor to Baldurs Gate series of this games, which took the place in Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting of Dungeons and Dragons franchise.

Here Dwarven nobles start the game as the part of Dwarven royal family, in where is the origin of Dwarf commoner and the player starts as "lowborn" living in the poverty. 11 commoners begins their story in segregated area of city Fereldens capital. Elven & human mags begin their story off in Fereldens Circle of Magi & the Dalish Elf story starts with player who living in forest between their clan. The Origin stories determine background of players character prior to main events of this games story, forming and composing an role to the world & a gameplay tutorial when comprising hours of play.
