WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 (also shortened to WWE SvR 2011 or "SVR 11"[3]) is a professional wrestling video game developed by Yukes and published by THQ for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). It is the seventh game in the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw series and the final game under the SmackDown vs. Raw name, with future installments simply being named WWE,[4] hence, it is the final installation of the SmackDown vs. Raw series. It is the sequel to WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 and succeeded by WWE 12. It is also the last installment for the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable platforms.[5] It was released on October 26, 2010 in North America, October 28, 2010 in Australia and October 29, 2010 in Europe. The game is based on the two brands of WWE, Raw and SmackDown. A demo version of the game was released in Japan on Xbox 360 in early February 2011.

WWE SMACKDOWN VS RAW 2011 The game is largely similar to its predecessor, but adds some key features. The most heavily marketed ones were the games improved graphics with an increased polygon count and the games addition of voice overs in Season mode provided by actual WWE performers (previous WWE games had used sampled wrestler voices sparingly). The latter feature was somewhat controversial for several reasons. The voice overs supplied are only for wrestlers that are not being controlled - the players controlled wrestler spoke through subtitles. The addition of voice overs was also linked to the Season Mode being more linear than Here Comes the Pain. The story lines encountered are generally the same for each wrestler, with the only differences being the opponents encountered, depending on which wrestler is chosen.





Several new gameplay features are introduced in WWE SMACKDOWN VS RAW 2011, including pre-match and in-match mini-games. The pre-match mini games are randomly chosen before every singles match, Test of strength, Stare down and Shoving match. Several in-game minigames were also introduced, chop battle, Spanking mini-game - in bra and panties matches, a female wrestler could enter a "spanking" mini-game. The meter mechanic from the chop battles are retained, but the player must perfectly time the button press three consecutive times to win. If the player does so, a cut scene of the two female wrestlers kissing is played.

The ability to sustain a submission till the count of 5 once a rope break had been reached was also implemented. The game features several arenas that WWE held events at in 2003 and 2004; there are also arenas based on each WWE television show.

WWE SMACKDOWN VS RAW 2011 is Also added to the game was the Clean/Dirty system, which influenced each wrestlers tactics. Players can choose if the wrestler is clean, dirty or neutral. A clean or dirty wrestler has a meter that can be filled up by performing special clean/dirty actions or moves

Summary: Sebuah fenomena aneh memang, melihat bagaimana olahraga fisik sekelas gulat bisa diramu sedemikian rupa, menjadi tak ubahnya panggung opera dengan atmosfer yang berbeda. Semua orang yang menonton WWE dan semua sub-drama yang ia tawarkan tahu betul bahwa semua itu diracik terencana, dengan karakterisasi dan plot yang cukup memancing emosi. Namun seperti halnya sebuah opera sabun, selalu ada ketertarikan untuk melihat bagaimana semua benang kusut cerita tersebut berakhir, apalagi dengan semua intrik yang berputar di sekitarnya. Sayangnya, kami pribadi sendiri sudah mulai “kehilangan” track bagaimana WWE berkembang selepas dihapusnya tayangan Smackdown di salah satu televisi swasta Indonesia beberapa tahun yang lalu.
Bukan karena cerita atau rasa familiar pula yang mendorong kami akhirnya menjajal WWE 2K15 versi Playstation 4 dan Xbox One. Tetapi fakta bahwa ia ditawarkan sebagai produk perdana dari franchise yang dilemparkan 2K Sports sebagai game generasi terbaru. Apalagi beragam trailer dan screenshot yang dirilis sebelumnya memperlihatkan visualisasi yang menguatkan identitas tersebut. Anda yang sudah membaca preview kami sebelumnya tentu saja sudah cukup punya gambaran nilai jual seperti apa yang ditawarkan oleh WWE 2K15 versi generasi terbaru ini. Ada begitu banyak mode yang dijajal, namun mekanik gameplay yang ditawarkan sempat kami sebut menimbulkan rasa frustrasi tersendiri.

One of the main changes in the game is the incorporation of a new physics system that allows objects to be used more realistically, such as objects involved in the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. Tables now break differently depending on the impact placed upon them. Inside and outside the ring, ladders can now be rested onto the ring ropes and be broken in half. For the first time since the original WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw game, chairs can be thrown at the players opponents.

Game Modes

WWE Universe

The games new "WWE Universe" builds storylines, and integrates cut scenes and rivalries between wrestlers based on the matches that are wrestled. These cut scenes appear randomly before, during, and after the match.[2][6] The game features more than 100 cutscenes to push storylines, which can revolve around alliances, rivalries and titles, forward. The game reacts to the players actions and depending on the goal of the players superstar, original or created, puts them in one of, or several, the top ten contenders lists for a specific title. However, one can only get into the contendership list depending on their rivalries, alliances, match types and most importantly, win-loss ratio.

Road to WrestleMania

Road to WrestleMania mode has been modified to include new features such as backstage roaming, mini-quests, and further interaction with other Superstars. Playable storylines involve Rey Mysterio, John Cena, Christian, and Chris Jericho. Along with that is the new storyline in which players choose Kofi Kingston, John Morrison, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth, or a created superstar in a quest to end The Undertakers undefeated WrestleMania Streak. Like previous iterations, the game features several storylines starting during the card leading to the Royal Rumble, a time period dubbed the Road to WrestleMania
